Some beautiful pieces as always by the design team at Alexander McQueen for their AW 2016 menswear collection. These were showcased at London Collections: Men in January. Sarah Burton explained that Darwinism and decay were big influences in the creation of this collection. Surprisingly for an Autumn/Winter collection butterflies and moths featured heavily but to great effect, and some pieces looked almost unisex such as the camel overcoat, which had a very feminine cut. I think this was a very beautiful, graphic collection.
