Butterfly Kisses at The Ivy

A nice little butterfly related item for the Valentine's weekend. The Ivy Kensington Brasserie in association with Perrier-Jouët champagne are serving romantically themed Butterfly Kisses Champagne Afternoon Teas in the run up to Valentines Day. The teas will take place under a ceiling canopy installation of 700 origami butterflies created by Viennese design partnership mischer' traxler, who created the stunning Curiosity Cloud installation at the V&A museum as part of the London Design Festival last October (here), which was for me the event of the Design Festival.

Apparently all guests ordering the Perrier-Jouët “Butterfly Kisses” Afternoon Tea will receive their very own origami butterfly at the end of their meal, which will unfold to reveal a secret Valentine’s message, and also for certain lucky winners, there will be a bespoke Valentine’s Day prize.

Happy Valentine's Day!
