The three large tapestries above were my favourite pieces in the exhibition.
I liked the intimate scale of her canvases and the wonderful colour juxtapositions, as well as the application of paint in thick, textured impastos.
I always enjoy the combination of image and type and these accordion-fold pieces were no exception. they were very reminiscent to me of Sonia Delauney's Simultaneous Book collaborations with poet Blaise Cendrars.
The shapes, mark-making and use of colour on these two ceramic pieces brought the works of Kandinsky to mind.
Be very quick if you want to catch this show as it finishes tomorrow, the colours really are as energising as the late summer sunshine we've been experiencing.
