Frieze Sculpture 2024

Frances Goodman - Pillar IV (detail)

To Regent's Park for the (12th) annual installment of Frieze Sculpture, in the Rose Garden, a prelude to the art fair itself. There are the usual variable quality of sculptures dotted around the green space, but all seem to enhance the greenery and actually really engage passers by in the park, sparking interesting conversations about art. Personal favourites this time around were Leonora Carrington - The Dancer (El Bailarin), Frances Goodman's - Pillars IV and V, Kirstine Roepstorff's - Lighting Rod, and Zanele Muholi's - Bambatha I.
